In reply to: Dashboard is emptyI did, but I don’t know if he will be of any help. This is frustrating since I paid for the work to be done, and it was made very clear that I would have complete control of the site, and now I can’t do anything with it. I am still trying to get an answer, but don’t know if it will get me anywhere.

In reply to: Dashboard is emptyI don’t know what plugins were installed. I find it hard to believe that one was added to limit my access since this person knew I was going to add plunins myself. (I am missing the “Plugin” tab.) I am suppose to have full access now that the site is complete. Is there a way I can recover the rest of my dashboard?

In reply to: Dashboard is emptyWhen I click on “Show on Screen” this is what appears..

-Welcome To Your Website EditorScreen Layout
Number of Columns: 1 2 3 4The “Welcome To Your Website Editor” is very basic Q&A since I am new to WordPress. When I click on the different columns, nothing appears.

In reply to: Dashboard is emptyI was told I have admin access by the person that set up my site. When I log in, I have my company name and below it, “Administrator Login.” My user name is “editor.” I am supoose to have full and complete control of the site.

In reply to: Dashboard is emptySince I was not familiar with WordPress and needed a website built, I paid someone else to create a WordPress site for me. He recently gave me the admin login to the dashboard. When I log in, the ONLY thing showing on my dashboard are the following tabs located to the left: Posts, Media, Pages, Contact. The rest of the screen under “Dashboard” where the modules such as “Right Now” are suppose to be is completely blank. There is absolutely nothing else on my screen. I was trying to show you a screenshot, but obviously need some guidance to upload it. I simply cannot copy and paste it in this reply. (I am trying to learn everything about WordPress now as fast as I can!)
When he built the site, it is obvious he used plugins for some of the features he included on the site. One example, is the gallery slideshow plugin.
If you could let me know how to send you a screenshot, or hopefully this gives you a better idea as to what I’m looking at when I log into my dashboard.
