In reply to: [ShiftController Employee Shift Scheduling] Old versionHello,
thank you for your feedback.Shifts visibility configuration is now way more flexible, you can configure it per calendar (location), go to Administration, Calendars, then Permissions.
Manual time is also available, it’s implemented as a special shift type “Custom Time”, you can enable it per calendar again, and if enabled, you can create shifts with manual time as before.
You can still use the old version, although you would need to install it manually: go to
https://wordpress.org/plugins/shiftcontroller/advanced/
and under Previous Versions choose 3.2.4 v3 and v4 can be installed together, they use independent datasets. Once you are ready to move to v4, you can always import the data from v3.

In reply to: [ShiftController Employee Shift Scheduling] Old versionHello,
I’m sorry for not replying sooner. We’ve been releasing updates for the new version that should iron out all those issues. In version 4.0.4 we made the grid lines a bit more prominent. Also the bug with the shifts not showing in the last day of the week is fixed.Hi,
we’ve just published an new update, version 4.0.3 that fixed a few v3 to v4 migration bugs. Also we’ve re-added a number of good things from the old version – month view, custom time shifts, edit time for existing shifts, more stats (hours and shifts) right in the calendar view, shift detailed view screen.Hi,
could you please give me a temporary WP admin access, please send it through http://www.shiftcontroller.com/contact/Hello,
the shortcode was changed to [shiftcontroller4], and so far there’re no parameters – it displays the “public schedule”.Hi,
I’m sorry we’ve just fixed a bug in the upgrade script that might have been the source of this issue, it’s fixed in version 4.0.2.Please do again go to ShiftController, Administration, About, then click Complete Reinstall, it should detect your old version tables and import that data into the new version.

Hello,
the old version used its own tables in the database, the new version moved to WordPress custom post types. Anyway it should automatically import your old data, please try to go to ShiftController, Administration, About, then click Complete Reinstall, it should detect your old version tables and import that data into the new version.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [ShiftController Employee Shift Scheduling] Stuff positionHi,
sorry for not replying sooner. We’ve just released a new major update, version 4. We have colors associated with calendars only. Although with the new version you can associate employees with certain calendars only, so you can probably associate each staff member with their own calendar (with their own color) so thus you will have colors for staff members.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [ShiftController Employee Shift Scheduling] Shift Template NameHi,
I’m terribly sorry for not replying sooner. We’ve just released a new major update, version 4 and now the Shift Type (formerly Template) name is displayed instead of the time.Regarding colors, we have colors associated with calendars only. You can though achieve different colors for shift types with a workaround: create separate calendars for AM Shifts and for PM Shifts, so they will be differently colored. In the new version you can associate shift types with certain calendars only, so for example in the red calendar you have “AM Shifts” type, and in the blue calendar “PM Shifts” only.

In reply to: [Locatoraid Store Locator] Remove rolesHello,
sorry for not replying sooner. You can remove links to certain parts of the plugin (modules), like Search Log. You will need to install an additional plugin, Locatoraid Hide Modules, get it from here:
http://www.locatoraid.com/locatoraid-hide-modules.zipBy default, it will hide the Search Log for Collaborators and Subscribers. If you need to adjust it, please edit the main locatoraid-hide-modules.php file, have a look at the
hide_these()function.For the moment it’s not possible to remove the link to the Pro version in the free version.
