As a newbie to webdesign and WP, it is possible that my question/comment was answered but I didn’t understand it.
I was provided HTML code that I want to add to either my footer or a specific page (not sure yet) and have no idea how to do that. In WP, when I click on the button “Back to WordPress Editor” I get a warning that I could break the layout, design, and content of my page.
If you can let me know in “newbie” language how to proceed I would be thankful!
I created this from scratch and never on flywheel. Yes I set up the site myself and the link has always been https://www.crpo.ca, but when i click on it it takes me to an internal link followed by the real one.
Here is the link to the temporary page I created:
As you’ll see, on the same monitor it looks very different. Is there a delay for when format changes flow through?
What does flywheel CDN mean? When I clicked on that link on my site using a browser in private mode instead of taking me to http://www.crpo.ca it went to:
https://hhcw.ca/faq/www.crpo.ca
The link I’ve put into the page is: https://www.crpo.ca
On another page, I have links that work fine and am not doing anything different. This is why I’m confused.
I know how to check for tablet/mobile browsers. The problem is on a desktop or laptop. If there’s a way to upload a picture here let me know and I can send screenshots. Its been noticed by friends of mine who I’ve asked to review my website for me.
Weird … for me the link doesn’t work properly. I’m wondering if its because I’m logged in as the admin vs a net new browser trying to connect.
Thanks for your help!
Will do … another newbie question – how do i post a question? I spent an hour last night and couldn’t find a way to do it 🙁
I’m having this problem too and don’t see an image widget. I’m a brand newbie here (this is my first post) so sorry if I’m missing something obvious. In elementor on my WP site i have a link that is http://www.crpo.ca and when you click on the live webpage it goes to mysite’s url followed by /www.crpo.ca
