No, they don’t have access to the Backend, of course. 🙂
They told me that it was a straight copy job of all the Files and DB. They just changeged the name of the server in the DB from webX.alfahosting-server to webY.alfahosting-server.

Maybe, it’s from interest, that I had similar problems with the complianz-Plugin. I had to reconfigure it from the scratch. Their support also had no idea, where all the Data is gone.

Edit: same with matomo. It lost the connection to the website.

My fault! Thought, that a subdomain is also okay. Moved the forum folder under the WordPress folder, and now it is working flawlessly.

No, I asked this question in the other thread, here it was purely about the problem that an automatically created user cannot log in and that there is no apparent reason for this in the user administration.

Be that as it may, it was due to the universally popular and completely overrated snake oil extension “AIOS” (All In One Security). This has a function in its depths with which you have to manually activate every user after they have been blocked without comment by this grandiose plugin.

The easier way is to uninstall this pointless plugin.

But it’s a pity that the manual activation of a new user is not a function of the free plugin. I need a user administration exclusively for a forum. I don’t want to earn money with it and therefore don’t need all the other restriction stuff. A simple administration where I can check users manually would have been enough for me.

Oh! Wait! That’s exactly what AIOS does! It blocks the user until I unblock him!
No, it’s a joke, I don’t like AIOS any more.

Anyway, now I have to find another user administration. Do you know of a free plugin that just extends the WP user management to a usable one that can be used in terms of data protection? As I said, your free plugin is already completely overkill for my requirements.

ich stehe komplett auf dem Schlauch. Weder auf meinem Hauptrechner (da muss ich mal die anderen OS testen), noch auf meinem Smartphone funktioniert diese Seite in irgendeinem Browser. Auf meinem Notebook mit synchronisierten(!) Browsern sie allerdings korrekt angezeigt. Das ergibt keinerlei Sinn.

Matomo zeigt mir auch keine signifikaten Änderungen an.

Bisher konsultierte Online-Tools können die Site auch laden.

Habe Deinen Vorschlag umgesetzt: keine Veränderung.
Habe meine Anzeige für Android-Autoradios auf Amazon deaktiviert: jetzt geht es wieder.

Mit der Lösung kann ich leben. 🙂 Vielleicht erstelle ich mal eine neue Anzeige.

Vielleicht doch noch ein Feeedback: Magst Du auch so gerne Steuererklärungen und Schreiben vom Finanzamt? Bei deren Sprache tut man sich wirklich schwer, oder?
Genauso lesen sich Texte über Advertising und SEO für mich.
Das bemerkt man sicherlich nicht, wenn man im Thema steht – ebenso wie Finanzbeamten die eigenen Texte schlüssig und lesbar erscheinen.
Wenn dann die Hilfeseiten für Advanced Ads noch auf Englisch geschrieben sind, habe ich schon zweimal keinen Bock die zu lesen.
Und das schreibe ich als ehemaliger ITler, der nach dem Lesen der meisten Artikel im Web nicht mehr sagen kann, ob die auf Deutsch oder Englisch geschrieben waren.
Klar, Eure Zielgruppe betreibt die Website, um Werbung zu machen. Da bestimmen vermutlich SEO und Advertising den Inhalt. Ich mache es genau andersherum: Ich schreibe einen Text und überlege erst dann, wie ich dort Werbung platzieren kann.
Vielleicht hätte ich mich mehr um das Plugin gekümmert und auch die Pro-Version nicht gekündigt, wenn die Hilfe (automatisch) übersetzt wäre. Wer würde noch selbst eine Steuererklärung machen, wäre sie auf Englisch verfasst? 😉
Macht doch ein neues Plugin mit dem Titel “Simple Ads for Dummies”, das würde ich sicherlich kaufen. 😉

I don’t know what was going on, but this is the third time I’ve updated, but this time it went smoothly.
Probably really a problem with one of the other plugins, but it must have been updated in the meantime.
