@-bene- sure! I will include this in the next release. Are there other features or changes you would like to see included in the future?

@-bene-, I appreciate the feedback and agree with you.

If you download ABB v1.1.4 you should find the colored block outlines are once again visible on the Container, Row, and Column blocks. Let me know if you see any problems here.

    Thank you,
    Joe

Hello @tumple! WordPress.org does not seem to be sending notifications for new support requests otherwise I would have reached out to you sooner. I appreciate the feedback and would very much like to help you resolve this problem if you have not already abandoned this plugin!

I was not able replicate the issue running a fresh installation of WordPress 5.3 with ABB v1.1.2 (installed at https://www.advancedbootstrapblocks.com/). But, this plugin does indeed add a className “finder/toggler” to the sidebar of core blocks so the error makes sense…

Do you have any other plugins installed which add or modify existing blocks?

    Thank you,
    Joe

    Good feedback, @betagoo. Thank you.

    1. The issue with columns not wrapping by default inside of a row has been resolved in v1.1.1. (Column blocks inside of Row blocks now wraps to the next line when they overflow the container.)

    2. The problem you described (orphaned blocks are missing their “drag handles”!) makes sense and is something which also gave me trouble.

This is the default behavior of the WordPress editor and I don’t think it would be wise to change it here. Hopefully the WP core/editor team will address this problem in a future release.)

The workaround is to add a second block to the container, which will make the drag handles available for either block. At this point you can drag/drop the original block to a new location.

I hope this helps. Thank you again for the feedback and please let me know if you run into any further issues here.

    Regards,
    Joe

@-bene-, good question and thank you for the feedback.

As you noticed there is no explicit background color setting. This is on my radar and something I would like to include in a future release.

In the meanwhile you can set background/text colors of advanced-bootstrap-blocks container blocks using a combination of Bootstrap utility classes. To do this click on a block and expand the “Advanced” panel in the sidebar and add a list of any relevant BS4 classes (such as bg-dark text-light or bg-light text-dark) to the “Additional CSS Class” field. Since the plugin includes makes these classes available in the WP editor, you should see some immediate change to your blocks.

I hope this helps and please let me know if you run into any trouble using out of the box utility classes or have requests for add’l features. If/when this feature gets added I will be sure to follow up with you here.

    Thank you,
    Joe

P.S. v1.0.10 adds add’l support for controlling background image position, repeat, size. SVGs are also supported.
