I solved the issue myself.
If you want to point your domain to http://www.example.com when installing instead of letting it pointing to http://www.example.com/wordpress, make sure you extract all the content of wordpress package prior installing and rezipped only those little files (Root files). when installed with either FTP File zilla or Cpanel, the extraction extracts those little files directly to the root folder, usually it’s public html.
I almost vomited tweaking these stuff. My brain exploded, my guts churn and my eyes! they bloated. LOL
GOOD LUCK FOLKS
Can anyone help me out? I just can’t figure this out.. I’ll email you my login ID and password
I tried http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory#Using_a_pre-existing_subdirectory_install
Didnt seem to work, or it is my own stupidity.
When you say root, where is the root folder specifically?
/home?
