In reply to: archive showing 403 and 404 errorI have figured the problem, let us suppose that i dont have anything in my second text box
and if i enter this thing (/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/) in first and if i have .htaccess as 666 chmod
then i have full site inaccessible with 500 error and i chnge .htaccess to normal which i think is either 644 or 600 it start working without the archive.
Hope this will help you to figure out the my problem’s solutions

I have cleared the last text box and saved using the CuteFTP. category links are working fine now but no change in the archive.
but can’t help out the archive links,
westi i have not created those folders.
macmanx i think my server do not have mod_rewrite thing.
i have referenced following pages at codex

and
http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissionsbut could do only the later

i am facing this problem for last three days and i am that many days old with WP. I want Fresh Bananas by Jeff Wheeler went to his site but to download it ask’s for username and password don’t what to do next. word press site says i have not installed the wordpress.
why wordpress admin can’t fix it out.
Please help me out.
