In reply to: Convert backup from WP 2.0 to wxrOut of curiosity, what do you get if you try this link?
http://www.harrymok.com/blog/wp-admin/edit.php?page=wp-xmlmigrate.php
I get the WP Export page.

In reply to: Convert backup from WP 2.0 to wxrYes, I installed the plugin to 2.0.2 blog. I get the error message when trying to use it.

In reply to: Convert backup from WP 2.0 to wxrI’ve installed this plugin but when I try to export it says “can’t open the page “feed://www.harrymok.com/blog/wp-admin/edit.php?page=wp-xmlmigrate.php” because it could not load any data from this location.”
I also installed XAMPP but not sure what that is supposed to do (excuse my ingorance).
I want to export version 2.0.2 file so I can import it into 2.7.
I think my situation is different than Sreenadhx in that I’m trying to export from blog that is up and running.

In reply to: Moving WordPress to new hostWell, I think my backup was not complete. I opened the sql file in text editor and it only contains those three tables.
Now that my domain has been transferred from Yahoo (my old host) to new host MidPhase, how do I backup my WP database?
I can still access my Yahoo account but I can’t figure out a way to do another backup of the WordPress database.

In reply to: Moving WordPress to new hostWhen I follow those directions, in phpMyAdmin, I only have three databases:
wp_catagories
wp_comments
wp_linkcatagoriesSomething went wrong with my database restore or my backup file wasn’t complete?

In reply to: Moving WordPress to new hostThe domain is the same.
However, my old host had the blog at harrymok.com/blog and if I’m not mistaken, the new installation has blog at root level.

In reply to: Almost Spring blog headline links goneJust noticed that on my manage themes page it says style sheets are missing from my fonts and images. This is what it says:
Broken Themes
The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.

In reply to: Almost Spring blog headline links goneI’ve put some stuff in the sidebar.
I was also trying to change the it so the pages I created would be separate from the blog, but was unsuccessful, so I may have screwed something up when I was doing that.

In reply to: Sidebar Shifting In SafariI’m having the same problem. Can you explain (for a novice like me) what exactly you did to fix this?
