It indeed seems to be the case that my host did something.
I didn’t know it was possible to directly login to my dashboard through the apps installer on my cpanel. I logged in through the apps installer and made a different address for my login page. The problem seems to have disappeared since then.
Hope this helps for other people with the same problem.
