In reply to: [Wordpress Stock Images by grfx] Translation filesI’m amazed this is not showing in translation files since _e(‘whatever’, ‘grfx’) is used.
I will look into that for the next update. Thank you for telling me.
Also if you like grfx ratings help us greatly.

In reply to: [Wordpress Stock Images by grfx] grfx, symbiostock, Easy Digital Downloadsgrfx uses imagemagick because it yields professional results, whereas php defaults to gd-library, which does not in many cases. grfx is set up to force the user to use professional settings — otherwise there is Symbiostock of which you speak that does not mind compromise and will cater to ignorance for a price.

In reply to: [Wordpress Stock Images by grfx] product lightbox image sizeHello,
The actual image is roughly 600px on the longest side — but depending on your theme it might be modified. Grfx attempts to over-ride this though in as many cases as possible especially for SEO value.
Right-click the image and view it’s original size. If it is already large, then its a simple CSS-override or a switch of your theme.
If its not, you can over-ride the size of the image usually via woocommerce (unless the theme is itself over-riding it)

In reply to: [Wordpress Stock Images by grfx] Plugin impossible to activateHello, I just now noticed this support thread.
grfx has some high standards of operation because it turns your site into a stock image sales platform. Hence these prerequisites must be met for it to work:
– Your server must be running php 5.4 or above
– Your server must have imagemagick turned on, with imagick php wrapper (you can speak to your host about this)
– You must install woocommerce for the cart functionality (grfx handles the product type and image processing, woocommerce handles store aspect)
If you cannot get these conditions met on your current host, we have our own suggestions here: http://community.grfx.co/recommended-stock-photo-hosting/
For other help, please utilize our forums as we have many who are able to help you in not only these issues but in selling strategies as well: http://community.grfx.co/

In reply to: [Wordpress Stock Images by grfx] imagick for PHP not installedIf your host is unable to give you proper support in this, I suggest bluehost because they perfectly accommodate these things.
Here is some info as to why I suggest bluehost (in the case your other host does not accommodate properly) fhttp://community.grfx.co/recommended-stock-photo-hosting/

In reply to: [Wordpress Stock Images by grfx] imagick for PHP not installedImagemagick is a requirement because the usual image processing library (gd library) ruins color quality in some case.
You should call your host and ask them to enable these things:
imagemagick
imagickYou can dismiss the notice, but continuing to use the default image processing might have a detrimental effect on your images if you’ve used Adobe RBG and so forth.
