Each is developed independently and there is always a chance something might go wrong. Backup your files regularly and before any major change. Try WordPress Move – my favorite backup program.

The title is most likely automatically created from the file name, and re-editing the title is a small price to pay for the chance to ftp the file back to your computer and re-upload it again manually.
I agree with you that moving the files from a media to a trash folder without a DB entry is the best solution.

All you have to do is FTP the files from wpmc-trash to your computer and re-upload them back to the library the regular way. It is much more dangerous to lose the file forever by mistake permanently.

The moment you remove the related database reference, the situation becomes the same for both types of the files. I agree, there is no way you can recover the database entry if you delete the media file, but you can always re-upload and it is very easy to do it. And this would be much safer to move the files to uploads/wpmc-trash than dump them permanently. When the user is happy with the result, he can clean the uploads/wpmc-trash folder manually.

“Deleted files will be moved to the ‘uploads/wpmc-trash’ directory. Related database entries will be permanently removed.”

I hope this is possible to fix. As a workaround I also tried video.js – problems with auto loop, and with Strobe Media Playback there is another problem with autoplay-auto loop – black screen between the last and the first frame.

In reply to: [WP-Polls] Polls visible in category listI don’t want to snip off any of the post contents in the category view including the text, photo and the poll. With the shortcode in place the poll showed fine in the individual post view but was completely stripped off/ignored in the category view. But to be fare, this is not just your plugin. It seems like all other shortcodes are ignored in the category view and I am not sure if this can be changed. Because it doesn’t work as expected, I had to disable WP-Polls for now.
Do you have a demo website to see it working properly?

Performance issues seem to appear when two (same or different) polls appear at the same time on one page which happens when I show a post with a YOP shortcode, for example, [yop_poll id=”2″], AND a poll in the widget area. Performance issues show as hour glass in the radio button voting area.
Maybe there is a conflict and the plugin doesn’t know how to process this situation?
YOP: could you try this scenario on your web site since I had to disable the plugin again.
