just updating. Definitely an issue with the host. Tried on two other hosts and it worked fine. Current host wont provide any support on scripts due to it being a free account.

btw also tested with WP 4.0 worked fine there as well.

Thanks for the info. I checked permissions all seem fine. Also went through those guides to check what they had for solutions. I tried doing a new clean install of wordpress as well. Same issue. I am now pretty certain its a host issue. maybe a database issue. I cannot see into the logs or permissions since its a free host.

no. I went back and re enabled everything to work on something else when i took the screen shot. I just flipped to the other theme to see if that was causing a conflict. I was getting the same error.

As for the PHP info i am on 5.4.26. Dont believe I have safe mode on. i dont have access to the php.ini file on the host I am currently on. does not look like it form the PHP info screen. I made an info page to show in case you need more info.

ok. I think I found the error. I am getting a 403 forbidden error on chat.js. Had to turn on on every flag in the console to find that guy

i do get the button on the bottom right of my page. but if i click it nothing happens. I have tried disabling all other plugins and changing themes to see if its a conflict. still a no go. no errors on browser console either.
