I used another calendar that we have within our organization and it worked just fine, however the Calendar ID is simply an email address, as opposed to the calendar I am attempting to use, which has the crazy string of numbers I posted above.
Yes, I just updated to 2.2.1 and the issue is still occurring.
Here is the ID I am attempting to use:

Other apps that I have installed (namely a Facebook RSS feed) work just fine as well. So I wasn’t optimistic that the problem was the local server. However I could likely try it on a live server to make sure.

After I input the Google Calendar ID and Update the page, I scroll down to the ID and it has replaced the @ symbol with this: %40
Could that be the problem?
I am also hosting this site locally, though I’m completely connected to the internet at all times. Could that be the issue?
