Hi,

I find that it is better to type some text and then apply a border to it.

Problems can occur when you hit ENTER to create a new line of text. The visual editor likes to create a separate box due to the new paragraph. SHIFT-ENTER will give you a new line while still retaining the paragraph and that seems to work well. So you can start a line of text and then apply a border or background color to it. Then type more text using SHIFT-ENTER for new lines.

It looks like the overflow isn’t being clipped with those boxes. We didn’t see that in Chrome. Can you tell us what browser you are using?
