At the time of the first hack, I was running an older version that was downloaded in february. However after that I updated to the newest versions.

As for spyware being on my computer. This thought did cross my mind several times. Actually at the time of first hack I was having mouselag and a process called ‘DKSERVICE’ kept insisting on running. In result to this I scanned and put up hardware firewall, ‘DKSERVICE’ was deleted and the mouselag dissapeared. But I still generated random passwords [numbers, symbols, 12 chars] on a computer on another network for all my important accounts… email, clickbank, paypal, bank, wordpress, cpanel

I emailed my host this morning asking for a log of all logins to my cpanel, and to check my files for corruption.

    Thank you for your time!

My password was generated randomly, so I believe this is out the door.

I have international visitors. During the time of ‘1st hack’ I had an influx of asian traffic; in no way being prejudice.

My blog was ‘believed to be hacked’ 3 times so I was forced to reupload all wp files 3 times, because simply overwriting files wasn’t working. After the 3rd time I thought I had done enough and publicly stated that I believed the problem was gone. 3 hours later I recieved a comment entitled ‘hahaha,’ tried to login, and there it was again.

All FTP passwords were changed, cpanel password changed, email passwords changed.

To me, this was enough evidence.

Is there a check list of manual security[.htaccess, basic permissions, security patches] that someone could provide?
