Niall, thank you for this detailed response. I understand it all, with one exception – you state that a custom theme will require a developer. I was under the impression that an educated amateur (such as myself) could work with a custom theme – is this definitely not the case? Thanks again! Lee

Thanks – I was under the impression that Thesis was a really popular theme, so I was having a hard time accepting the conclusion that it had been discontinued.
