OK – strange – now it all works !
Maybe it was using wp-admin from IE7 rather than firefox !
nogimmies – Whilst I am in no way happy that you have the same problem as I have, I am relieved that I’m not the only one with the issue !
Hopefully one or other of us will stumble over a solution soon…..
BTW – is it only text widgets that present the problem ? I havent thought about trying others – I will when I get home tonight.

I also added some text to the text widget, saved, deactivated the plugin and reactivated it and ….
…still no !!!
Am puzzled now.
THanks for the reply, esmi, but I tried the text widget that comes with WP 2.8 and it didnt work either – shift-F5 and clearing the cache also didnt help.
