1) Yes we already decided to make it optional for site owners to show EU Notice or not. And we also received other queries about it.
It needed because when site owner doesn’t see comments, they write to us that plugin is not functioning. So we decided to display a notice for the convenience of the EU users.

2) It is basically for scraping the post to Facebook. For some sites, Facebook doesn’t crawl the posts/site and doesn’t show the comments box. But you are right, it should also be the optional as not all sites require this.

We will make changes in next version and hope you will provide your feedback for our next version.

You have Blocked third-party cookies in your chrome settings. You need to allow Facebook cookie from top right corner of the chrome after opening the site.
Or
You can unblock third-party cookies from your chrome. To do, please follow the steps.

Open Chrome.
At the top right, click More. Settings.
Under “Privacy and security,” click Site settings.
Click Cookies.
From here, you can: Turn on cookies: Next to “Blocked,” turn on the switch. Turn off cookies: Turn off Allow sites to save and read cookie data.

We checked your site with and without login to Facebook. Its working fine. Actually issue is in your chrome settings.

Did it happen after updating the latest version of the plugin or before?
Well we checked your given URL. Facebook didn’t crawled this URL before. We just forced Facebook to crawl it and now comments are showing there.
In future, if you face any issue like this for any URL, you can resolve it by following the steps given in the post below.

Looks you recently installed SSL certificate at your site.
The plugin stores comments directly to Facebook with URL and without SSL, URL will start with http whereas after SSL, URL will start with https. Means a different URL will not have previous comments.
There is an option in the plugin to show comments before SSL. You can turn on or if you want to start comments with https then you need to scrape your URL by Facebook so that Facebook crawl your new URL and show comments box for new comments.
We just scraped your given URL and comments box is now showing on the post. You need to do it for every post for immediate result.

Also your site is having many issues and warnings in console. You need to address them for smooth integration of the Facebook comments.

Hi,

It was already fixed immediately after releasing. But you were in the initial users who got update and that left in your copy.
You just need to delete the plugin and reinstall the fresh plugin. Or we are also going to launch next version 1.7.1 within 2 days and then you will get automatic update.
