In reply to: When a user is logged in, menus don't work from iPhone & iPadSo using this plugin to hide the front-end admin toolbar: http://wordpress.org/plugins/global-admin-bar-hide-or-remove/
and adding the # to custom menus works for all users 🙂
However, I agree this may be a band-aid solution, so I would like to know where this conflict is so I can solve it on the root level if possible.
thanks

In reply to: When a user is logged in, menus don't work from iPhone & iPadWpyogi – thanks for stepping in to help.
I think it’s about solved, however I need to know if anyone knows a way to have the toolbar defaulted in the “off position”.
Furthermore, I should also clarify that the # is in place of just leaving the URL section blank in the custom menus.
If there is a cleaner solution to this, as you suggested, here is the link to the site I’m designing for my customer: http://www.alexhaleyacademy.com with the theme ‘Kickstart’ http://themeforest.net/item/kickstart-retina-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4538019
thanks again

In reply to: When a user is logged in, menus don't work from iPhone & iPadThanks a million for this suggestion! It worked! However, I needed to do 2 things to make this work. 1) uncheck ‘toolbar’ setting on profile 2) needed to add # on all root custom menus in the URL link. (read this in another post)
If I didn’t add the # then each menu is completely frozen on iPhone/Ipad when only using option 1.
So does this mean it’s a Jquery conflict?
Is this the only solution, I don’t mind, however, I will be having a lot of subscribers; so is there a way to have a global setting where this toolbar is shut off for all new registrations?Hey thanks again Joe!

In reply to: Internal Server ErrorAfter extensive research, it was a memory allocation problem on my server. I needed to increase the memory in the php.ini file from 32 to 64. All my plugins work like a charm now! 🙂

In reply to: Internal Server ErrorI want to thank all of you for this information. I recently installed the NextGen gallery; and instantly received an Internal Server Error and could not log into my dashboard. Under a deadline and a little panic, I found this topic forum (thank you!). I also renamed the NextGen plugin via FTP login and things were fixed! Unfortunately, I don’t know a solution to properly install the NextGen plugin now… but thank god the site is back up and running.
