if I uploaded a video from my desktop via ftp what folder do I put it in (i don’t see a video folder) and then how to I get it onto a specific page. . .?

If I use Add Media – how to I direct it to a page in my blog and position it just right? Without knowing php or html??

Ok if I haven’t posted to YouTube but created a video sitting on my desktop. . . How can I get it to a page of my blog? If I ftp it in where is the video selection or is that where I should send it? If I post to YouTube then I can use the Video Quicktags right?
