One more bit of information. I lost all of my subscribers (stated above) just after installing Subscribe2 HTML. After installing Subscribe2 HTML I thought I did not need Subscribe2 (free) any more so uninstalled it. This deleted all my subscribers. After this happened I manually added all the subscribers (that I knew) to try and fix this.
Could the uninstall of Subscribe2 (free) after the install of Subscribe2 HTML inadvertently broken something?
Am I better off uninstalling Subscribe2 HTML (after backing up subscribers) and then reinstalling it again?
Thanks for the info . I have purchased Subscribe2 HTML and have it installed and registered. Does this mean that all public subscribers should get all categories and full HTML emails by default?
I will install the email log plugin to have a look at what is going on.
OK, I have manually added a lot of subscribers to my blog (had to re-add due to accidentally deleting them). This was done on the “Public Subscribers” tab of the Subscribers settings page for the plugin my putting the address in the field and pressing the Subscribe button. What is happening is not all the public subscribers, probably the ones I manually added, are getting notifications of all my posts.
My questions was how to I make sure that all the of public subscribers are subscribed to particular categories (especially the manually added ones) and how do I ensure that ALL notification emails to public subscribers are HTML format of the FULL post?
I do not want to implement registered users on my blog but would like it such that anyone who subscribes (publicly) is automatically subscribed to all categories and with full HTML.
If I purchase Subscribe2 HTML will the full HTML email also include the images from the post?
