In reply to: [The Events Calendar] problem with Find out more sectionHave tried this but with iPhone as I scroll down the page contents the background image disappears up the screen! ?!
Geoff
Here’s another site of mine with the same issue.
http://geoff-ideas.co.uk/venues/
Using my iPad the text does not scroll over the background image as it does on my PC.
?!
Geoff
Thanks Adrew
Geoff
any chance of a link to this?!
Sorry cannot show link just now but with the PC the background image stays on position and I can scroll down the page content which moves across the background image.
On an iPad and iPhone the image is left behind as I scroll down the page content.
This helps?!
Cheers
Geoff
PS I should add that I am using the latest version of Twenty Sixteen theme and have configured the background image as “fixed” in Appearance.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] problem with Find out more sectionfurther steps forward?!
have changed the text etc colors (text white) and all pages OK except that the “Find out more” words which have white characters do not appear as the background for this section is white!
How do I change the background color for the “Find out more” section?
I have tried using Firebug but cannot identify the area in order to try adding some css into the style.css file…
I see <div class =”tribe-events-single-section tribe-events-event-meta primary tribe-clearfix”
Should I use this in css?
.tribe-events-single-section tribe-events-event-meta primary tribe-clearfix {
color: blue;
}??!!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] problem with Find out more sectionI can now see that the problem is related to selecting “dark” as the base color scheme for the twenty sixteen theme.
If I select “red” as the base color scheme color then I can read the “Find out more” text.
How can I keep the dark option but still read the “Find out more” text?!
Geoff
oK – thanks Dave.

sorted ! I had made the height of the masthead smaller – taking out that css and the mobile menu is OK again!
Geoff
PS why would this be?
Michael
should you see this …!
I have used your code above but now the menu list is appearing behind an image – have tried using z-index but cannot get it on top..
ideas please?!

Michael
I have just added this to the code you posted
.site-footer .main-navigation {display: none;}
which stops the lower menu being displayed on all pages.
Not using any cache plugins at the moment.

Thanks for the css!
At the moment on my iphone when I click on the Menu icon I see 2 menus. One at the top of the screen and another at the bottom. Is it possible to remove the lower one? Not clear to me why 2 versions?
Cheers
