In reply to: enigma Portfolio – remove link and zoom ButtonHi Just Wondering …notice the above, but is there a way to remove the “zoom” button, but keep that “link” button? or even if I could make the link and zoom both actually go to the “link” I specify.
I’m trying to get each Portfolio tile to point to it’s own page with a separate gallery on it about that tile, rather than the picture “zoom” pointing to the gallery of pictures of just the 4 portfolio’s picture’s.
So if I have a Comfort Portfolio …I’ll have a page with gallery with all comfort slides
if I have a Service Portfolio….I’ll have another page with a gallery of service relates slides

That’s brings us back to the “choppy” or “Jerky” action of the Header on top of the page.But the difference between my two sites is on
ReliantAir.net the “movement” is “snapping” the Header sections (Choppy)On SignsbySpeedi.com it’s smooth and stay’s put
If you compare the action at the tops of the 2 you see the difference
I would prefer the static and smooth action style of the Speedi pages.
Can we do this for Enigma?Thanks

Look at http://www.signsbyspeedi.com (my site using parallax version) and compare.
I don’t care so much about the “transparency” effect, I just like the way the Header Sections (Title, Tagline & Menus) stay consistently of the top of the browser view window on that site.
Can we adjust my enigma child theme I’m using on ReliantAir.net to stay put the same way?
Does this explain myself better now?

With this new block of code the Header & Menu Sections now are locked at the top of the page (above the content). When you scroll the page the Headers are fixed to the top of the entire page….they roll together as a single unit and up and off he screen out of view….
When I’m asking is how to keep the Header & Menus sections (divisions) always “stationary” at the top of the browser content view window, when the user scrolls the up or down. ie. the content scrolls, but the Headers stay put.
Any thoughts? Thx

But before we close this out…let me ask you this…
On this site I’m using regular Enigma, what’s happening now is …as I scroll down on a page, the top header scrolls a little bit too and after lets say movement of perhaps 20-30px, then Header sections “snap” back into view (a bit choppy) and lock themselves just under the browser’s menu bar…this is not bad (thx)
On another site I used your Enigma Parallax Theme….on that one, the header sections appear fixed and a bit transparent at the top and you can see parts of the sliders (Etc..) “behind” the Header section and once you scroll a bit the Header turns solid and still fixed and the transition is very smooth.
So my question is this. Can we make the Header sections (in my regular Enigma theme) now as we have them, “stay put” at the top of the page, like they do in parallax (they don’t roll up (or move) at all). I’m not concerned about them having a “transparent” effect….just wondering if we can make them to stay “fixed” at the top?

One last question….
If you view my site now (I added new code)…
When you scroll down now….the menu rolls then comes back a locks – Nice!, but it’s positioned like 10-15px (like 1/4″ of clear space) below the bottom row of the browser menu bars. So when you scroll the page you can see the page also scroll behind there, so you can see the Header is like floating over the rest. Probably not a big issue, big can we adjust up the location of the header section?? (incase people complain)Thanks so much for your help so far!

In reply to: [Enigma] Enigma Theme How can I make the Header stickyHi, Ok I ‘ve gone back and started over and re-did these mods, And have confirmed that the changes seem to have “split” the header into basically half (top/bottom) and now I only get my custom images displaying in the “top” half.
I have included before and after images. I would really like to have custom header images be displayed in entire header, like the original.Please help

So originally I had some custom random header backgrounds set in the theme. So the Site Title and the Tag line (along with the social icons) would display with the background showing behind both lines of header content (and randomly change correctly).. and when you scroll the page header part rolls off and then the menus stay fixed at the top.
Now with your new code mods ….the header and menus stays fixed (like I want, thx), but what I notice is that the “header” section now seems to be 2 areas (split in half upper lower). The Top half has the random header banners in it (although now squeezed down to fit 50% their height), and the bottom 50% (where the Tag line and socials are)is a fixed flat color (not my header images), so it does remain fixed at the top, but the header section now seems to be comprised of 2 areas.
Any way we can fix that? Thanks for your help.
