In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] Homepage Title & SliderI was still facing the problem and contacted you via the website’s contact form. In the meanwhile I resolved it by setting up a blog page as suggested here.
Thank you

In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] Homepage Title & SliderAfter the update the title of the Home page is still the title of the latest post. I saw in the changelog that the custom front page was fixed, but I use the default one.
Also the /amp/ is completeley removed from the slider links, and they now send to the original version.

In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] Homepage Title & SliderCorrection:
Double slash is still there but redirects correctly. I was seeing another page because of cookies/browser data.
Yes, I am using v4.9.0 in WP 4.2.4
This worked for me too, in 2 websites that I tried.
Thank you Otto
So this was indeed intentional, and not a bug. I think that removing the title option is not right, just because other editors do so. We are used to it and tooltips highly improve user experience. If the problem is, people who have no HTML knowledge, then it could just be renamed to “On hover text”. So, we would have three fields like the screenshot provided in the ticket. That’s just my opinion.
Apart from using plugins, you can override the problem with simple HTML.

After reading this comment carefully I understand that they are talking about inserting images by URL.
The target was to implement a system that would “scan” the URL you provide in the “Insert from URL field”. If this was an image URL, then it would show you the image options. But, if it was a – non image – URL it would show you the “Link Text” field, and it would then function as the regular Insert URL procedure.
They achieved that, but in the meanwhile they broke the regular insert URL fields, too.
@wpyogi This topic is about the media manager, as mentioned above
