I use 1and1 and the 1and1 blog feature is way too restricted, I recommend just installing WordPress on a 1and1 server.
What they do is have everything on their servers or something, not your webspace so you can’t edit anything. Same with all of their other free tools. =/
Oh yeah… but what if I just made one general description for the CMS? Like I describe what my site is about in the header.php file just like on regular HTML files, would Google pick that up like just a static HTML file?
I know about the theme editor, *laughs* but I backup before I make any serious edits anyway.
