It is a ‘feature’ of the Freemius WordPress SDK used by this ( any many other) plugin to allow opted in metrics to also optionally show ‘support’ links, but I do get what you are saying and consider removing it. I can see why Freemius do it, as it is a work around for the lack of sub – sub menus in the dashboard.

This plugin displays events created in Eventbrite. I ( the plugin author ) am not related to Eventbrite in anyway.
To find out how Eventbrite works you can search for ‘Eventbrite Demo’ and I’m sure you will find something to help you.
As your question isn’t related to the plugin, I can’t really help much further.

In reply to: [Stop User Enumeration] Plugin breaks REST API even when disabledI’m sorry you are having difficulties, however the code is very straight forward and if you have disabled the plugin it does not operate, and if you have deleted there is nothing to operate.
The CURL error sounds like an issue with your test environment.
I can’t really be much more helpful, but if you would like to package up your test site and DB and send it to me I will happily take a look.

If you go to your Dashboard > Settings > Display Eventbrite Events you will see there is a ‘contact us’ tab, please use that to raise your support request.

First, I think you ( or a moderator ) should remove that link to an active malicious site, don’t want people going there.
In terms of your issue, I can confirm there was no virus or malicious code in /wp-content/plugins/widget-for-eventbrite-api/includes/vendor/moment/moment/min/locales.min.js in version 2.6.2 or any version indeed.
It is most likely that your site was hacked and the malicious code was injected as part of that attack, which is common practice when sites are breached.
I am glad to see you site has since been recovered.

You don’t need the pro version to customise the widget template. However you will need some development skills.
The widgets template is found in templates/widget.php and can be overridden in your (child) theme so you don’t have to worry about plugin updates impact customisations.
