I was thinking about making the selection criteria in the settings.

In reply to: [Auto Set Admin Colour on Staging and Dev] Excellent supportThanks for the review.
Mind you your timing was lucky, I can’t promise to always be so fast.
OK that is released.
How is that for service?

Thank you for your feedback.
I will add a custom URL to the release roadmap as it does seem a useful addition.

In reply to: [Stop User Enumeration] Improves my Website securityHi Geoffrey,
Thank you very much for your generous review. That is exactly why I built this plugin about 6 years ago, a lightweight way to detect a ‘bad guy’ footprint and use Fail2Ban to block the IPs. I agree the 7 day ban is too long, but I haven’t changed that config in the 6 years in the plugin, but will do next release, it really only needs to be 20 minutes in my opinion. But of course that is the beauty of F2B, you configure it to your needs.
The all in one security plugins have a place for people that have less time or experience and indeed I have a premium full security plugin which I have tried to build with the same lightweight ethos and leverage Fail2Ban where it exists. Of course that plugin would not be for the someone like you, but at least the revenue means I can continue to provide support for this plugin totally free.
Best regards,
Alan

In reply to: [Display Eventbrite Events] link incomplete in new post announcementHi,
I’m not sure how publishing a blog post and email links relate to this plugin?
The website link you gave does not seem to respond either.
Can you clarify further, maybe with screenshots?
Alan
Hi,
Rather than leave a cryptic review without any detail and the headline not relating to the content you would be better off raising a support ticket with your issue so the plugin author can at least initially respond.
Referring to your headline ‘Error 500 when deleted’ this plugin does not touch any external files ( unlike some redirect plugins that modify .htaccess ) so it is an impossibility for this plugin to do anything, including create an error, after it has been deleted. I note you have been testing, and negatively reviewing several 404 plugins – perhaps you got the error mixed up?
The content of your review says ‘Can not paste custom URL’ which perhaps should be your review title – however in the plugin’s defence it doesn’t claim that as a feature.

These warnings showing in debug have been fixed in 2.8.2.
Thanks again for letting me know.
Thanks, will tidy that up.

In reply to: [Auto Set Admin Colour on Staging and Dev] Update white screensThanks Pat – fixed that in 1.1.1
I have changed the rules to allow ellipses in request strings. So I will mark this resolved.
