In reply to: Settings>DM Albums displays nothing in 2.8.4Can you please provide more information on what is happening? My feeling is that DM Albums must use some GD functions for image processing that don’t exist on your server and it is failing to start up. Pinpointing the specific function will be a difficult process if I don’t have more information, however. The DutchMonkey Development squad is standing by.

Currently, DM Albums doesn’t support remote images since it processes,
resizes, and sharpens images when displaying them. Supporting remote
images is something I’ve always wanted to support, but have not been able
to overcome the performance hit of needing to download the images on the
remote server onto the local server for processing. I’ll keep working the
issue, though, and would welcome any advice or suggestions that anyone has.Forum: Plugins

I will do my best to help you. I get quite a few questions about captions but need specifics in order to be able to determine the problem.

In reply to: [Plugin: DM Albums] Adding ImagesActually, if you are logged in as an admin, you *should* see a little “add/edit” link underneath the photos when you’re viewing the album in a post.
I am planning to made a major revision which adds a lot of this capability directly through the admin panel when editing a post…stay tuned.

There was a security flaw in versions prior to 1.9.3 which allowed a malicious user execute potentially dangerous code. Please note that this security hole has been patched in version 1.9.3. Also note that this only effected users with servers which have “register_globals” enabled.
