Thanks Dmytro, you got it ! Ajax is enabled for all my forms and your new code is working like a charm (except with inprivate edge browsing for which autocomplete is on, but I won’t really care). Your help is really appreciated and your involvement is enlighting my day.
Thanks again. I will give another try when time will be on my side. At first attempt, nothing was working as excepted anymore with this new code.
Coming back to previous code was not doing the job any more.
Maybe onther fight with this tiring cache machine needed to speed up pages loading but resulting in not seeing changes I apply…

The delay for javascript seems to be an absolute need : when I try to reduce it, autocomplete is on.

You made my day with ths piece of code. It works exactly as I expected and it gives me the ultimate satifaction to have a task completely ended, the way it was intended to be done.
Last question : will it work for other browsers too ? I remember these days when html and javascript were not rendering the same thing at all when loaded by different browsers and I was expecting this was over, forggotten in a far far away past time… May be there are still a few sequels remaining from this time in some dark and forgotten holes in the web.

Thanks for your code. It is working for the no paste function but auto fill is still possible.
Using it with MS Edge (chromium engine) and I guess the autocomplete is depending on the browser we use. Or not ?

Still a bit frustrated with this auto completion function which is refusing to stop working.

My purpose was to apply this to only one specific form. Would it be possible to add the form ID somewhere in this code ?
Problem solved : it was an error in selctor calculation option. I wrote 24 instead of 25 when I enabled this field to be used for calculation field.
