On MY site it looks fine. But in the technorati listings (where you usually see an excerpt of the post) the heading of the post looks fine but underneath is an SQL-error (from my site).

I’ve noticed something though, it seemes maybe it has only affected newer posts that I’ve used “keywords” on, some plugin for tagging.
The weird thing is that my site looks fine. No SQL errors anywhere 🙂 Dunno why they show up in technorati listings.

Guess I’m just gonna have to switch between the two “themes” for a while and see which one people like best.

You know how you can change the colours of the whole site by clicking “invert” – right now the default is the dark “theme” but I was thinking that maybe the ligher one would be better. What are your opinions about that?

In reply to: WP as CMS for design folioThanks for the comment wahgnube, but there are some issues with using permalinks on this particular site. I’m using them for my other blog but unfortunately for this one i’ve done too many big changes to the code for them to work properly 🙁
I’ve been thinking that I will spend some time on a work-around for it a bit later on. For now I’m just happy that it works 🙂

In reply to: WP as CMS for design folioAhh, _that_ gallery 🙂 Sorry man, misunderstood you. Well given my limited flash skills I just put i together as simple as possible. So it’s just a preloader covering the whole page first, and then on the next scene one button for every image fading the image in when clicked.
Or am i misunderstanding you again now?

In reply to: Macsupport New BlogI’m not sure what the copyright laws say in canada, but where I’m from it’s not even legal to repost entire articles or other pieces of text without the permission of the owner of it.
That being said, it looks pretty sweet and you’ve got a good domain name.

dremeda, not really sure what you mean. I’m guessing that by the “gallery” you mean the thumbnail images on the archive pages? What I did there was simply to put the thumbnail in the excerpt and then show only that on the archive pages.

In reply to: Serious IE5 float problem!So, you’re effectively saying that it’s ok if your site doesn’t show in IE5 on mac? I have to disagree. People are using it, for one reason or another. Would be great if eveybody could just upgrade and only use the latest browsers – but unfortunately that is not the case. Since I’m using this particualt site for self promotion I want to meake sure that whoever sees it will get the best possbile experience in terms of browser behaviour.
Like I said in my second post, the problem i described is solved and works fine in IE now. So it’s all cool again 🙂
