This is depend on your web hosting plan whether they can restrict to only www domain, you could set up on your desktop/laptop if you have technical skills to do so.
Well, you can still download backup with the filename ends with “.wpress” extension off your hosting and import from your computing rather than going through traditional back-up.
What is the problem about up-front when you are using WordPress which is a traditional CMS, unless you prefer to try other CMS, it’s your choice that you choose WordPress. Disgruntled.
