In reply to: Can¨t login – probably a database issue after upgradeThe site is recovered now, bit with faulty swedish characters. I used the force-upgrade script and now it works normally except that old articles and comments lack å, ä and ö. I’ve tried to change coding in phpmyadmin without luck. All new submissions work though.

In reply to: Can¨t login – probably a database issue after upgradeI found something that could be part of the problem. Before doing the manual upgrade I tried the automatic upgrade which failed. However, inside the wp-content folder there was another wp-content folder. So now I’ve erased all duplicates and overwritten my install with the 2.8.4 files. But when trying to log in there is the same problem. Also the post titles have messed up characters and it’s not possible to access comments.
I’m still very much stranded.
