thank you
the thing is that there is no “remove” button for the favicon.. i don’t want any favicon to replace it.. i prefer it empty for now.. if you want to see a screenshot let me know..
for the other suggestion.. do you mean to add this
add_filter('get_site_icon_url', '__return_false');at the end of a file called “functions.php”? in which directory the file is located?
i will check the search box suggestion soon.. it seems more complicated for me..
are you sure the gazans are sending best wishes to anyone sincerely? maybe it’s fake when happening?

In reply to: not sure how to upgrade php 8.2.29i think i succeeded. i just needed to apply version 8.4 to the domains….
it was easy..
even tho it said it was on 8.4 before [in the cpanel]….
i wish things were more straightforward to manage a website….

In reply to: not sure how to upgrade php 8.2.29You can have multiple versions of PHP installed on your server and specify which one is used for WP, through cPanel or .htaccess in the WP root directory. What’s in your .htaccess? Have you asked your host to look into this?
they didn’t offer help on this.
if i will post the contents of the .htaccess file you mentioned will it compromise my security or privacy?
I’d check that your actual domain is set to 8.4, not just that 8.4 is available. Sometimes there’s also another PHP selector in cPanel, and that one might be the one WordPress is using instead.
It could also be something in your .htaccess forcing a different PHP version, so worth checking that
sounds complicated for me….
i will check to see if i better understand when visiting the cpanel again….
thanks

the weird thing is that another website with wordpress that i manage with the same hosting does not require the steps. i’m not sure why is it different.
