I’ve added it to the header now. As you can see, it adds a new “row” above the image. If I make the header image smaller, it just stretches to the full width.

In reply to: [Worth The Read] Remove reading time from the social media preview?OK I will figure it out.
Just now another question came into my mind.
I am looking for a way to put a short affiliate disclosure before my post. Does anything speak against just putting it into the “Format” field as a short text after “# min read”?
But I can’t put links in there, right?Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Download Monitor] GDPR complianceI am not talking about making my website GDPR compliant with the plugin (obviously, I am not a huge idiot). I talk about getting the plugin itself GDPR compliant as a single component.
How can this plugin be compliant if it makes a connection to Facebook without asking the user?
It’s not panic, it’s the law. And there has already been people getting letters from attorneys for their use of Google Fonts here in Germany. The IP of a user is considered personal data and under GDPR you can’t just send the users IP around without his consent.

Embedding something on your site that makes a connection to another website has a lot to do with GDPR and is the reason people had to stop using Google Fonts.

In reply to: [Download Monitor] GDPR complianceThank you. Is all I have to do, setting “IP Address Logging” to “Store anonymized IP address”?
What logs do I have to disable?
I’m gonna need some detailed explanations here.- This reply was modified 7 years, 11 months ago by flizzywp.
