Hey,
I ended up switching to the pdc-pod version and re-entering all the print.com values. So i assume that from now on updates will work out as expected.
So this thread can be closed.
Hey,
I might have figured it out. The plugin i’m running (v 1.0.0) is called ‘pdc-connector’. The current version (1.2.0) is called ‘pdc-pod’. When I update via the WordPress updater, v1.0.0 is replaced, as expected. But when I upload it manually, they can be installed both. So could it be that changing the name (and maybe other details?) prevent the data from migrating correctly?
When I upload the new version as described above and remove v1.0.0, the data is also gone.
It makes sense with the fact that the plugin is inactive after updating; when a new plugin is installed it isn’t activated automatically.
Could that be the issue?
Hey @printdotcom,
I was looking forward to the release of 1.2.0, to see if the issue would be resolved. However, with this update the result is the same.
I’ve tried disabling all plugins (except woocommerce), and switching to a default theme. Unfortunately, it doesn’t help.
I’ve created a staging clone for testing this issue. If you’d like to have a look, let me know and i’ll send you the details.

In reply to: [Print.com Print on Demand] Sort presets alphabeticallyAwesome! Just updated to 1.1.1, very nice to have the presets sorted. That’ll make finding the right one a lot easier.
Unfortunately, the same issue occurred after updating. But i’ll make a new topic for that since it’s a different issue/request.
Thanks for implementing this!

In reply to: [Print.com Print on Demand] Sort presets alphabeticallyThat’s great, thanks!
When i updated the plugin a few days ago, it somehow deactivated itself and all my assigned presets in variable products were gone. Thankfully i had a recent backup, that saved me hours of work. Don’t know if it’s something on the plugin-side or something with my update going sideways, but i thought i’d let you know.
Cheers!
