Thanks guys!

It looks to me like the SP Client Project & Document Manager plugin was the culprit. When I disabled it, WP Security works fine.
And I recall it was one of the last updates I ran just before the crash.
Version 2.3.7, Premium Version: 3.0.7.6.

The strange thing is: I have both plug-ins enabled now, and everything is fine. Isn’t that strange?
Could it be that the actual updating of that plugin caused the conflict, but not just running the plugins together?
If so, might I expect this to happen again when I update, or am I just postulating/ talking bilge?
