@emilenaim @kizkot Please I have similar issue. Multiple wp-cache.php files in every folder, thousand of “.”FOLDERNAME everywhere.
This malware is affecting the whole server and all my 12 hosted websites.
Please how do I scan to remove these files, I can’t obviuosly remove them manually as there are over 6 thousand of them..
Please advise..
I had similar issue with multiple client sites hosted on my SG Server.
The above recommendation of reuploading the affected wp-load.php file is the fix, but the plugin or malware causing the problem automatically affect the file again on reupload & site refresh.
The only fix is to change the permission of the file to 444 just after upload (DO NOT REFRESH YOUR SITE FIRST). This will block possible connection from the plugin causing the problem. I can’t possibly locate the main root but this fix works, at least for all my sites.
