I updated sc just now and added a param for this problem. Now you can add after [category_id=x] an optional param like [category_posts=50]. migdes solution is correct but if you ever update its gone. So you can now addto every single page an limiter. So you are free to show 10 posts in cat 1 and 100 in another.

Naja, tatsächlich ist es eine WordPress Einstellung. Hast du eventuell eine Einstellung gesetzt, die nur angemeldeten Benutzern das Lesen von beiträgen ermöglicht?
