I bought my own domain and installed the WordPress theme through GoDaddy. I am trying to install some affiliate links. This is what I did:
1) Clicked on Appearance<Widgets
2)Dropped and dragged the Text Widget into the East Sidebar
3)Inserted HTML code for the affiliate link
4)Hit SaveIt worked, HOWEVER, it is not in the position I wanted the link in but when I went back to the Widgets page and clicked the east sidebar…no code!
So how do you edit text you’ve previously entered into the sidebar?
And if there is an EASIER way to insert links or banners, I would appreciate that method as well.
