Thank you, but it doesn’t work as intended.
Not only smileys are still displayed as icons, but it seems that some are replaced by others in a different style, and the style is no more homogeneous – so it impoverishes the pages.
– I don’t like the yellow graphic smileys.
– I want to be able to write typographic sequences of characters of my choice without it being turned into ugly icons.
– The good practices say deservedly we must avoid to add many plugins and it’s a pity to add a plugin only to correct this sad regression.

In addition, the automatic HTML tags correction option disappeared with the WordPress smileys transformation option. All this is really a pity.

I pray that great developers of WordPress will want to give us these options back.

Am I the only one with this problem!?
