It was a server side problem that my ISP resolved. Thanks for all the advice, though. I’ll keep your post/guide handy once I get into 3rd party plug-ins. Looks like a good resource.

I have tried uploading all the files into a separate blog file as you suggested, after updating the config.php file with the appropriate DB Name, username and password but to no accord. I even got my ISP provider to work through the details and he couldn’t figure it out. We both think we have done everything correctly and still we get a 500 Error Message. I posted a message earlier today to this effect. However, maybe you have some idea as to what I’m doing wrong.
