Can you disable autosave ??? Would be a great feature for future wp updates if not…this errors caused be grief also…

Just seem this post after making my own post on the same problem!
However, I have downlaoded the latest 2.6.3 and extracted the files, however i cannot see any Text directory or files within the wp-includes file ?
