In reply to: [Ultimate Tag Cloud Widget] fetch terms base on the current listIt seems you have understood the feature correctly, however the plugin isn’t able to reliably find the posts in every single case. And since you’re using woocommerce maybe the list is constructed in some way that my plugin doesn’t understand.
I’m sorry to disappoint you but this feature will not work in every case unfortunately.

In reply to: [Ultimate Tag Cloud Widget] fetch terms base on the current listI’m not sure why that is not working, but it relies on fetching terms from the current internal query. If your theme or some plugin will alter the internal query there might not be any results.
Is your site live somewhere where I can see the problem? Could you please enable debug mode in the advanced tab?

In reply to: [Ultimate Tag Cloud Widget] A requestHi
When you select creation time as selection strategy it will only affect which terms are selected when the tag cloud is generated. There should still be different sizes based upon how many times the term has been used.
Maybe all your latest term all have only been used once?
Take a look at the playground and you can see that the latest terms on my blog will differ in sizes: https://0x539.se/wordpress/tag-cloud-playground/

In reply to: [Ultimate Tag Cloud Widget] problem with posts ageYes, that is correct.
In version 2.5 there is now an option to add filters to the resulting links. Please try it out and see if that works for you.
2.5 will release in beta tonight, but I think there will be a proper release of it later this week.

In reply to: [Ultimate Tag Cloud Widget] Limiting the tag cloud to a specific categoryAt the moment that is not possible, however I’m currently planning to research a possible solution to be included within the next version. I’ve gotten a couple of requests for this feature.
Hi Shanthosh
This feature is not available at the moment. Are you using some special code to achieve these kinds of lists or just built in WordPress functionality?
I need to have a look at how the links could be changed to create lists more appropriate to the widget configuration.
It’s tricky to answer this question without access to the site that you’re using the widget on. It seems however that you need to add some custom CSS rules to make this happen.
Could you provide a link to the site where the tag cloud is used?

In reply to: [Ultimate Tag Cloud Widget] problem with posts ageIf I understand you correctly, the issue is that when clicking a tag in the tag cloud, the resulting list also displays posts that are older than the configured age.
This is because the widget only changes the appearance of the widget, and not how WordPress determines which posts to show when creating the tag archive page.
I don’t think there is a way to link to a tag archive in such a way that posts older than the configured age won’t be displayed – and I think such a feature is outside the scope of this plugin.

In reply to: [Ultimate Tag Cloud Widget] configuration tabs not clickableI’m thinking there might be some kind of conflict with some other plugin that’s installed on your site.
Could you provide a list of active plugins on your site? You could contact me privately with this information if you’d like, rickard (a) 0x539.se

In reply to: [Ultimate Tag Cloud Widget] widget class change! :(For some people it was considered a bug that the plugin wasn’t using the regular WordPress tag cloud classes, since it would mess up the layout of the plugin in some themes.
I’ve gotten a couple of comments about this change and I’m starting to consider maybe adding an option to go back to the old way where the regular tag cloud styling would be disregarded.

In reply to: [Ultimate Tag Cloud Widget] configuration tabs not clickableIt sounds like some of the files needed by the plugin is not loaded correctly.
Could you please provide some additional information about your site?
Are you running on a secure connection (HTTPS)?
Which operating system and web browser are you using?
