So it is not the problem.

I have deactivated your plugin to see if it caused the problem with WP members but the problem stays the same.
Since there are no other counterfeiting plugins looks like WP Members might have a bug in the plugin.
Chad, can you give your feedback on this plz?
If I reinstall WP Members plugin can I save login details for those already signed up through it?Any other suggestions would help greatly.

Unfortunately I don’t have any other plugins installed except for your one, SlimStat and commercial WordPress theme.
When I installed your plug-in I had only commercial theme and your plugin installed and it worked well without any issues. then I installed slimstat and it also did work well until recently.
Could slimstat plugin be the reason?

I only have protected one page with content on my website from unregistered viewers with this plugin,
I have also wp-members widget added to the footer of my website. It has automatic redirection to the page with protected content.
I MANAGE TO LOG IN:
If I am registering through the footer on my main webpage (not dedicated log in page) then I get logged in and am redirected to the content as it is supposed to be once you are logged in.BUT I CAN’T LOG IN:
If I try to login on dedicated protected content page (which has default login box since it is protected) it asks me to log in again without letting me through or registering me as logged in user. If AFTER THAT I go to my main website page and try to login in through the footer as described above it redirects me to the protected page BUT do not log me in.
