Serious, does no one has this problem too?
Am I really alone on this part. How did you guys solve it?
If I got it right “Allowed by line 2: Disallow: Detected as a directory; specific files may have different restrictions” means that the Google found out that it has to crawl the directory.
However, it can’t tell to you which files or directory directly, but it knows that the restrictions are different for each file/directory.
You don’t need to solve this, as it isn’t a problem. This is what you want.
Actually, I’m curious about the opposite.
My images are somehow not indexed by the Google crawler. The xml sitemap has been created longtime ago and I have given enough time to get indexed, but no images are shown.
I tried adding a wp-content/uploads directory. Though it’s not clear to me if the sub-directories are also indexed. So far no success on this.
Anyway to add the images or change settings for the image directory?
