I was able to resolve this by updating my root directory as well as the wp-includes directory. Then, when I went to wp-admin I was prompted to upgrade my database. I did that and now everything (so far) is working fine. Thanks all.
Hmm I tried that, but when I got to this step:
“Login to your WordPress administration menus”
I tried to login and upon clearing FF cache, refreshing, etc. the login page still doesn’t appear.Ok thanks. I tried that, but the behavior is still the same. Please advise.
Hi ckadet, re-upload the wp-admin folder from where? I did the automatic upgrade so I never actually uploaded anything in the first place. Are you suggesting I download WordPress 3.0 and take the wp-admin folder from that and overwrite the existing one on the server?
