In reply to: [BulletProof Security] Website hacked–what other plugins should I use?Haha, okay, thanks for your help! 🙂 I added Clef for two-factor WP login with my phone, but otherwise I think I’m okay with my strategy going forward. Thanks!

In reply to: [Alpine PhotoTile for SmugMug] Not showing the images in my Smugmug GalleryOkay, I tried that, and the images wouldn’t load. So I then turned off all minification, and they still wouldn’t load
Finally, I turned off image “Lazy loading” ant that finally fixed it.
But now I’ve turned almost everything off in WP Rocket, so I’m guessing I should just disable the plugin: https://copy.com/ALbAkJxfEyrbNgvv
And I’m interested in talking to someone to streamline my sitespeed efforts.
what kind of developer would I hire to do this kind of Manual Minification and site speed consulting? Is that an SEO company or a web design company? Is this something your company does, AITpro?

In reply to: [Alpine PhotoTile for SmugMug] Not showing the images in my Smugmug GalleryOkay, AIT Pro! I tried that, and turned off minification in cloudflare and turned it on in WP Rocket (and excluded JS), but it broke my AlpineTile gallery again… http://www.everintransit.com/sweet-day-in-downtown-la/
Do you have any suggestions for my WP Rocket settings? Here is what it’s set at now: https://copy.com/MV6O3LHAEQs3oXcv

In reply to: [Alpine PhotoTile for SmugMug] Not showing the images in my Smugmug GalleryOkay, thanks for this! I turned on CSS and HTML minify within cloudflare, but left JS off (see: https://copy.com/OFaA1zbRflZ4Uprd)
Is it a bad if I don’t have a separate caching plugin enabled right now? OR is Cloudflare enough? I’ve run a few of those Pingdom tests with and without cloudflare, with and without WP Rocket and I’ve never noticed a big difference in site speed (but things break all the time because of all the speed tools enabled)
I’m finding this WordPress site speed stuff so complicated, and I’m thinking I need to hire a pro for a site review.
I appreciate your help, AITpro!

In reply to: [BulletProof Security] Flooded with "BPS Security Log" emailsAh, I see!
I just turned off Cloudflare Rocket Loader (for ANOTHER problem I was having), so perhaps the next logs I’ll see will be 403s.
Thanks for your help!

In reply to: [Alpine PhotoTile for SmugMug] Not showing the images in my Smugmug GalleryOkay! I just figured it out (but it wasn’t the Cloudflare…)
I was using Cloudflare Rocket Loader, so first, I turned it off.
I then cleared the cache from my WP Rocket (my caching plugin), and cleared the cache on Cloudflare. That still didn’t work.
Then I turned off WP Rocket, and now it works!
(But now I don’t have a caching plugin enabled–I guess I’ll submit a support request to them now.)
Thanks for your help!

In reply to: [BulletProof Security] Flooded with "BPS Security Log" emailsHm, I opened the file and every single one says “it’s not an attack” and mentions “malformed syntax”.
Here is what the logs look like:
[400 GET Bad Request: June 26, 2015 – 9:08 am]

HTTP_USER_AGENT:Thanks, those directions worked and now it appears the code is in the file and it is locked.
Thank you!
Okay, here it is. It does say Apache… does this help?
Server Type: Apache
Operating System: Linux
WP Filesystem API Method: direct
Server API: cgi-fcgi CGI Host Server TypeGreat, thanks.
But one other thing–the support guy for another plugin said that BPS won’t actually do anything for my site because I’m hosted on an NGINX server (not Apache), so locking the .htaccess file is not necessary.
Is this true?

In reply to: [Pinterest Pin It Button For Images] Messes up centered imagesSapphire: I was having the same problem on my site and a guy in another forum sent me some code that worked to fix it. I posted it in this thread:
