I really appreciate you being direct about your concerns. You’ve highlighted something we should have addressed sooner on the About page, and we’re working on updating it now.

About your data security: I completely understand your concern about API tokens. Here’s how the plugin handles your credentials:

• API tokens are stored encrypted in your WordPress database
• The plugin only requests the minimum Confluence permissions needed
• No data ever touches RippleStep’s servers — everything stays between your WordPress site and your Confluence instance
• The plugin is open to code review, and I’m happy to walk you through the security implementation if you’d like

About the install count: The plugin is relatively new, which explains the low install count and lack of reviews so far. We’re actively working to improve the plugin and gather feedback from early users.
