I’ve tried deleting, removing, purging cache, to no avail. I’ve already tried removing the plugins and fresh installing WordPress, and it’s the same. I don’t think it was the theme because I was using the Twenty Fourteen theme when I tried updating it the first time.

I think the problem lies with my current database, but I’m not sure. I exported all my entries using WordPress export and imported it to another fresh install and it worked fine. I lost the other data I had, but I guess it’s better than nothing.
