I am still working on disabling the image thumbnail from the google search. Therefore I have checked your answers again. I have added the googlebot code to disallow images in the robot.txt, but the snippet images are still there.Did I understand you correctly, I need to add this code to the .htaccess file and the thumbnail images in the google search will not show again?

Hi Michael, thank you for your quick reply and for your patience. Here is the screenshot. https://snipboard.io/VAasd7.jpg. Sorry, that it took me so long to understand the way with the featured image. Well, when I use the original logo there will be showed only a part of it. Now I adjusted the margin of the logo and the logo looks good on preview. Could do this, as the feature image will not be displayed on the page – I have deactivated it. But I am wondering, if this really make sense to do. Guess a product image would make more sense. I am curious of your opinion. The subject is definitely solved from my side. Hello again, thank you for your explanation. There is one question left for me, if I set use disallow images in the robots.txt, does this mean, that there will be no image in the google preview? At the moment I see an image in the yoast seo snippet preview. I do not want to have there an image, except the logo. Hope you understand what I mean, I am pretty a beginner concerning yoast. But I like the tool and want to understand it better. Thank you in advance.

Thank you for your quick answer. Yes, of course you are right. I manually clear the page cache as soon as an update of any plugins as been effected, than the cookie notice appears on the first page.
Otherwise the cookie notice does not appear on the first page neither on the first visit, nor on further visits, but always on all other pages.https://wordpress.org/plugins/cookie-notice/
I have also forwarded my question to the plugin support of the cookie notice plugin and let you know, what the think about this.
